This is a blog by Babs, Hen, and Aodh documenting the rise and fall of our baking endeavors during the Great British Bake Off 2013. If you know your macaroon from your macarons you’re just about one step ahead of us. Yes, there will be tears, thermometers, tantrums and tarts. Mostly there will be lots of tasting. We will post photos of the dishes we prepare, as we come together each week to pitch ourselves against the best, and we will only ever say good things about Mary, Sue, and Mel (Paul Hollywood, watch out).
